Azul Platino
Azul Platino is extracted from a city near Vigo, in Spain. The historic city of Vigo is also referred to as O Berbés. It is actually an old fishing port, mostly comprised of ancestral one and two storey houses, all made of granite. Most of these houses were built during the 18th and begining 19th century.
Azul Platino has been used in Spain for hundreds of years. The cathedral Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, in Spain, is entirely built with granite from the region of Vigo.
This granite is dense with a tight texture and can show a subtle black veining or small black spots. Azul Platino goes well with various design styles and is recommended for both residential and commercial projects.
Only one quarry produces this stone. Because of its incredible popularity in Europe and in the Middle-East, those who will have the chance of purchasing a parcel of this Spanish jewel will enhance their decor with this timeless classic’s sophistication.
